TRANSITION & INTEGRATION
TRANSITION
Spend at least the next 2.5 days very slowly reintroducing diversity into your diet. Try to stick to a diet of well cooked foods during this time. Adding in soy, wheat, dairy, fish, meat and eggs one at a time and notice if you have any reactions.
This is always a very illuminating time to figure out how each of these foods works with your body, so stay present and pay attention.
Final phase: Rejuvenation
This phase is ongoing as you continue to rebuild after this period of cleansing. Limited amounts of raw or uncooked foods can now be consumed.
You can now start working with rejuvinative or “building” herbs. Click here for a nice article from Banyan Botanicals on rasayana herbs. I do recommend purchasing chywanprash (available at most health food stores, or at mullum herbals for the Norther Rivers folk). Also a good option is ashwaghanda.
Introduce more rasayana foods to your diet like dates, almonds, ghee, and cows milk. Rasayana means “juicing up” - these foods are considered in ayurveda to help you feel grounded and juicy.
